Follow-Up Support After Your Program

Virtual follow-up coaching gives existing clients continued guidance after completing a program, whether that means touch-ups, follow-up support, or questions answered.

Available After Program Completion

Virtual follow-up coaching is available only to existing Good Choice Dog Academy clients who have completed a program and need touch-ups, follow-up support, or questions answered. It is not offered as a standalone training option for new dogs we have not worked with.

Considered When These Apply

  • Owners who need touch-ups on previously taught work
  • Households maintaining routines, structure, and daily communication
  • Owners who want feedback on handling, timing, and follow-through
  • Owners with follow-up questions after their program

What the Work May Focus On

Areas the Plan May Address

  • Clear, consistent communication with the dog
  • Maintaining confidence in familiar environments
  • A practical plan the household can sustain

How the Process Works

An Individualized, Assessment-Led Plan

Follow-up coaching begins with a review of your dog's completed program and what has changed since. From there the session focuses on the specific touch-ups or questions you have, with adjustments to the routines already established.

The Owner's Role

What Owners Should Expect to Contribute

Remote work depends heavily on the owner. You will be the one handling the dog, so coaching focuses on observation, timing, and consistent follow-through between sessions.

Honest Expectations

When Another Option May Be Better

New clients, or cases involving safety risk, significant aggression concerns, or behavior requiring hands-on handling, should begin with an assessment and in-person work rather than remote follow-up coaching.

Frequently Asked

Before You Book

Do you offer virtual training?

Virtual follow-up coaching is available only for existing clients who have completed a program and need touch-ups, follow-up support, or questions answered. It is not offered as a standalone training option for new dogs we have not worked with.

I am a new client. Can I start virtually?

No. New clients begin with an assessment so we can understand the dog in person and recommend an appropriate foundational program.

Do I need special equipment?

A stable video connection and a safe space to work are the basics. Any equipment recommendation follows from the work already completed in your program.
